Neutral Good. Hmm, perhaps. Personally I think I tend to lean more to the Chaotic side, though I suppose thought and action don’t always line up so precisely.

Oh yeah, I forgot about alignment! I tend not to play D&D as such, so I was just thinking of the abilities in computer RPGs and MMOs (WoW being the main one). That’s what I figured! Hence my caveat. I suspect I would enjoy Paladins a lot more in a game where they’re not required to be Lawful Good.

Paladin. You protect/heal your friends, and you fight for them as well. Haha, I’m not sure the Paladin’s customary trait of always-Lawful-Good carries over that well, but I appreciate the sentiment nonetheless! (n.b. The only RPG with a class system that I have played more than incidentally is Dungeons & Dragons, where my parties’ Paladins were usually played Lawful Anal or Stupid Good on purpose.)

If you had to cast me in a typical RPG class or archetype…

My name is Jared, or you can just call me Tchy. I'm a queer kid just kickin' around on the internet. I like writing, fantasy, late nights, books, lions, punk, and queer politics. I sustain myself mainly on a diet of chocolate, salt and vinegar chips, and strong tea in a mug decorated with dirty Shakespeare quotations. Sometimes I like to draw inappropriate things. ![]()
