The St. Lawrence? Tchy, where do you live? If you live near me, can we be IRL friends? Cananananananada. :D Ottawa, specifically. I think it says so on my about page. It definitely says so on the Queer Haus blog. Where do you live?

the name oliver Oliver is grounded, serious, smart, and a bit arrogant, but also has a fun, enthusiastic side. The more aggressive parts to its nature are tempered by a hidden gentleness.

Not everyone does, just like not all trans* people do. But the term is common in the community, and I’ve seen a lot of people talking about it. I have a friend who is active in the community and does a bunch of awareness and activist-type stuff online. When we first started talking and she was telling me about her experience, she didn’t use the term “dysphoria,” but what she described to me was so painfully familiar to me, as a trans* person who experiences gender dysphoria, that I told her it sounded like dysphoria to me. She said she’s heard similar things from other trans* people (some of whom are also otherkin). That’s another thing, too. Saying it’s appropriation for otherkin to use the same terms as the trans* community is completely ignoring the existence of trans* otherkin.

YES YOU ARE.
And thus, one of the few people who looks like herself in my mental image.
My mental picture of them changes too.
No, you are a blocky orange field with white text on you! :D

I was trans-educating a nurse today who was asking too many questions. And. She was all in disbelief that I didn't know many transsexuals in real life. Just like... what the fuck? Hey nurse, we live a dangerous life okay? Being stealth is actually an option! Blaaaah so angry tonight. Gender sucks. People suck too. Blehhhh that sucks. I’m sorry things were suck for you today. I offer hugs and sympathy and a nice mug of tea.

Oh my god, yes. Have you read Patrick Rothfuss's 'The Name of the Wind'? I tried to link it but the ask box won't let me. There is an excerpt on his site. Also what is your favourite type of tea? Feel free to yell enthusiastically in my ask box at ANY TIME regarding any subject that suits your fancy. Also, I may have said this already, but if you are ever in the Montreal area, let me know and maybe we could go for tea! I… have not read that, no! I will have to investigate it at some point when I am less sleepy and not-braining. TEA. I love tea. I like lots of kinds of tea! I used to drink a lot of orange pekoe and then I started drinking peach Ceylon and sometimes I drink chai and and and lots of tea, tea forever. Also I like bubble tea. I haven’t had bubble tea in ages. If I am ever in Montreal I would love to get tea with you! I don’t know how likely that is to happen in the near future. I don’t go to Montreal often.

My name is Jared, or you can just call me Tchy. I'm a queer kid just kickin' around on the internet. I like writing, fantasy, late nights, books, lions, punk, and queer politics. I sustain myself mainly on a diet of chocolate, salt and vinegar chips, and strong tea in a mug decorated with dirty Shakespeare quotations. Sometimes I like to draw inappropriate things. ![]()
